Step-by-Step Guide to Becoming a Permanent Makeup Instructor

Step 1: Complete Training Programme

You must obtain a qualification in semi permanent makeup training to begin your career in this industry.  The UK has several accredited and trusted training providers, including our clinic, Natural Enhancement. We are HABIA approved. How long does it take?

Our beginner course is the Digital Standard Aesthesis. Advanced courses include Medical Specialities.

Before going ahead with training, ensure the provider has all necessary qualifications needed. You should also check what requirements there are to be fully licensed and insured.  Find out about being ITEC Level 4 qualified.

Step 2: Apply for Licensing & Insurance

Before you can practice, it is law that you are fully licensed and insured. It is vital that you choose the right insurance for your needs, whether you are freelance, self-employed or work in a clinic.

Step 4: Becoming an Instructor
